Do any of these count b/c I'm probably a double coward and I may need options.

Canadian Bacon (but isn't this really just ham)?

Fakin' Bacon (from the Tofurky crowd who seem to enjoy a drastic and narrow form of gastric flagellation, but if it won't make me a coward I can take one for the team)?

Fakin' Bacon??????? Stop all engines, lay about smartly, drop the forward anchor.

Dude, you need a double hopped beer, a medium rare steak and a hockey game. Stat.

Since hockey season is over, as penance, you must drink straight black coffee for three months straight.

No foof. No "double latte, double skim, shot of non-fat, decaf with a shot of hazelnut, lightly steamed with room for organic soy coconut almond milk" for you.

Black. Navy. Six cups a day. Carry on.

You sound like my mom, with her meat preferences at that.
BadDa BoooM!

I HAVE had that crap and the phonney bologna (sound it out).
Its OK a couple times... then eraser meat tastin. Like you
said, might as well (GD reference ~ HA) have the real thing in moderation.
I would have to smoke way more ummmm, for Toferk... nevermind...

The thing I did learn is that Morning Star products are the
stuff. no kiddin'. If you want a break, or have to serve a
veggie-and-a tearian, look at some of their products. Serious. http://www.morningstarfarms.com/products.html
The corndogs are out of this world. You cant tell them from
a county fair. Your heart and gut might, but not the tatse buds.
And who doesnt like tasty buds??
Not all of us have big beautiful, lush, large farms to get
the good stuff from :) Did you say you have a long bush
that produces choc pudding? I have the pix round here
somewhere. = )

Please dont make me eat Tofuckit again though. I would
rather lick a popcicle made out of James Browns ball sweat
made after a taping of Soul Train.

To think that I used to eat such a product(?) that it was a regular item on the grocery list. I shudder to remember. I never went so far down in my fake vegetarian meat products as to eat Toferkey. I got to thinking when I stopped eating these products why would vegetarians want to eat food that reminded them of meat, or the far off distant flavor of that meat? Just eat the darn meat. I mean do you really know how your Fakin' Bacon was raised?

And nothing but a cup of cold (or hot) coffee (black) Mando. I think we at least have a toehold there.

No watching sports of double hops though, so I still feel that I'm on shaky ground.

And to you one or two vegetarians that I've highly offended out in Forum land, hey I was once one too. For like twentish years. But then my senses slowly began returning to me and all kinds of yummy meats were still there waiting (for you too) like a faithful spouse.

Toehold beach head established.....

And as long as it's not wine spritzers and polo you can shore up your footing and consider terra firma, umm, firma-ississimo forte??

I coach(1)/play(1) sports so that should grab more 'real estate'.

I am properly seasonal regarding libations. No wine spritzers since I tried to steal them from my father to have Anything for a Friday night. But, my whites are in the summer and browns in the winter. I'm seeing an expanding beachhead, sir.

Private, beach head is secure. Good work. Be advised, the easy way is mined and the diversion you are ignoring is the main attack.

Report back when the seasonal browns are of the rendered barley variety for further instructions and a new assignment.

Carry on.

What about adding a shot of bacon syrup to that cup of joe?

From the article i linked above:

Andrea Ramirez, a customer marketing manager with Torani, says that since being introduced in April, 2010, bacon has become one of their more popular syrups, selling on par with flavors such as almond and not lagging too far behind hazelnut.

"We thought it'd be really funny, we were going to make a limited amount and use it at a cocktail show. … It actually sold out within two weeks so we had to do a larger production," Ramirez says.

"The growth on it has been extremely healthy," she added with just a bit of irony.

Ramirez says it took about two months to perfect the flavor, with failed iterations tasting too hammy or too smoky. She says the secret behind the bacon craze is the thought of trying meat in unexpected places.

I love it when the remnants of bacon mix with a swallow of good coffee.
